September 2006

Greetings from New Mexico

Once before, we started the newsletter by noting that the smell of roasting green chile is in the air, so it must be football season. Well, it's that time again and that means we are in the last one third of the year and the countdown to the holiday season. Yesterday, I updated our web sites with new specials and reset the countdown indicator for Christmas. I was surprised that the count was 100 days.

One strategy for holiday shopping it to wait for the last minute and cash in on the sales. The upside of this strategy is that you may be able to save some money. The downside is that you are in a rush and may not find what you need. So the purposes of this letter are two-fold: saving money and finding what you need or want, plus some bonuses to boot.

In July, Lladro introduced the Utopia Collection. Quoting the Lladro mini-catalog, this collection is "…a selection of pieces highlighting some of the brand's success throughout its 50 year history." The pieces will not be offered on the Internet until next year, at least in the United States. You must visit your favorite Lladro dealer to view the Utopia Collection. We have a small number of publications available that show the Utopia Collection. We will send you one of them for free, while supplies last. Free - that's a good price. Just send us an email with your request and we will send the publication by snail mail. To make it easier, just click on this link and include your name and address:

Or call us at 1-800-877-0445.

If you would just like the price list of Utopia sculptures, send us an e-mail here and we will forward it to you.

If these mailto: links don't work with your e-mail program, just send your e-mail to:

Now here's a really good promotion. During September, Lladro has a special surprise. When you purchase one or more Lladro sculptures at one time from September 1 through September 30, 2006, totaling $500 or more, Lladro will send you a porcelain figurine valued at $150 as their gift to you for your exceptional support and patronage. This is a really good opportunity to get a lot of your holiday shopping done and get a reward yourself. Here's how to do it:

Visit our website now (of course) and make your selections of Lladro that total at least $500. A bigger purchase is OK too. Then place your order and forward your payment details. We will send you the necessary redemption paperwork. You will need to complete a redemption form and the Lladro Assurance Form for each item. Then bundle these items with the sales receipt we will forward and mail everything to:

Lladro - Consumer Relations Department
1 Lladro Drive
Moonachie, NJ 07074

You can do your Christmas or holiday shopping, get a reward for yourself, and check out our specials here:

So far, we have identified the Lladro activities, but what about our Nambe customers? At the following links you can find the Nambe specials:

Maria just finished reading the newsletter to ensure I was lucid and reminded me that our readership likes a special code for a discount when the order is over $100 (besides the free shipping). So here goes. Place your order by September 23, 2006 and enter the secret code for a 20% discount. The code is:

Beat Navy

For my comrades in the Navy or otherwise aligned, in the true spirit of competition, you can enter:

Beat Army

So that's it for this edition. Utopia, a reminder to get started on your holiday shopping list (order your bells and balls now to avoid disappointment), A Lladro special promotion this month, new specials, and a new "secret code" summarizes a quick review. We look forward to hearing from you.
