Greetings from New Mexico This edition of the newsletter will cover Valentine specials, liquid silver, price increases in the Lladro line, Lladro new issues, and the special code for the newsletter discount. So let's get started. We identified a group of Lladros as Valentine specials - great presents to tell that Special Someone that you love them. Then we reduced the price and, coupled with the newsletter discount, created a selection on 99 pieces for your consideration. You can find the Valentine Specials at this address: http://andrewsgallery.com/Specials1.htm Knowing that times are tight, an alternative to a Lladro just might be liquid silver. Another name for liquid silver is silver heshi. The product consists of fine strands of sterling silver beads in the form of necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. While we could go on with a sales pitch that liquid silver is better than flowers and that it is sterling silver, why not just take a look? Here's the link: http://andrewsgallery.com/liquidsilverropes.htm Every year Lladro announces price increases and this year is no different. We did some calculations and estimate the increase across the entire line somewhere between two and three percent. That's the good news. The not so good news is that different pieces have different prices, which may be bad if it's a piece you've always wanted. Some more good news, however, is that the price increases don't go into effect until the end of January. But do the increases affect the pieces you want and by how much? As a group the angels, nativities (classic and gres) and the Ganeshas show significant increases. If you have incomplete collections in any of these areas, we recommend ordering promptly. You will save on the increase and you will save with the newsletter discount. The 178 pieces getting a price increase show a 2.7 to 41 percent cost growth. (We think the 41 percenter was significantly under priced to start with.) Going through the list, we identified pieces other than the in the groups mentioned above that are going up by 20 percent or more. If that most wanted Lladro is in the following list, buy it now and save a bundle: 06985 My Favorite Companion 07028 Illusion (Re-Deco) 08341 Little Mouse 06164 Wedding Bells 06767 Petals on the Wind 06939 Welcome to the Family 08319 Round Diya 06822 Sweet Fragrance 06875 Butterfly Wings 08289 The Rat 08261 Heavenly Messenger 07225 Sweet Water Flower (Special Edition) 01919 Repose 12383 Pacific Jewel 12385 Tropical Flower 12382 Island Beauty 12365 Holy Mother 12387 Karina 12323 Water Girl 13559 Peace Offering 12449 Heavenly Messenger (Gres) 13526 Watching the Dove To find out about specific pieces you can call us at 1-877-4LLADRO now or wait until the new prices are posted.
